Cycle Counter

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Cycle Counter candidates in the Salem, NH area. A cycle counter maintains accurate inventory records by performing regular counts, identifying discrepancies, and supporting warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and service or obsolete parts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Audit and reconcile inventory by comparing physical counts to inventory records and reporting discrepancies.
Maintain inventory records in databases or ERP systems, updating material dimensions, weights, and locations as needed.
Assist warehouse operations by locating materials, supporting order fulfillment, and coordinating with production, engineering, and customer service teams.
Investigate discrepancies to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring errors.
Organize and maintain work areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.
Use warehouse equipment safely, including order pickers, forklifts, and scanners, to perform inventory tasks.
Generate reports on inventory status, cycle count results, and adjustments for management review.

Desired Background/Skills:

Previous Inventory/Warehouse/Forklift

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to accurately track and reconcile inventory.
Basic computer proficiency, including experience with ERP systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a warehouse environment.
Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting items during inventory counts.
High school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job training is typically provided.
