Automation Technician

CoWorx is seeking a 2nd shift Automation Technician in the Northvale, NJ area!

The Automation Technician maintains and improves automated machinery and processes within the plant. This person will use technology to improve, streamline, and automate manufacturing processes to reduce the need for human intervention and maximize efficiency.

Shift: 2nd (3:00 pm-11:30 pm)

Responsibilities:

Analyzing and troubleshooting problems in automated systems.
Conducting regular maintenance and inspections of automation equipment.
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through automation.

Desired Background/Skills:

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Three years minimum experience in automation, programming, and controls.
Knowledge of automation software, industrial computer networks, and programmable logic controllers.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, project management.
