CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Automation Technician candidates in the Slatersville, RI area. The Automation Technician III supports automation installation, setup, repair, and maintenance in a fast-paced injection molding environment. This advanced role requires strong technical ability and the capability to train and guide junior technicians.

Responsibilities:
Install, set up, change over, and optimize robotics, automation cells, and standalone equipment
Train and guide junior technicians in setup, troubleshooting, fabrication, and daily tasks
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, robotic, and automation issues
Use multimeters, electrical testing devices, and thermal testing tools for troubleshooting
Upload, back up, and troubleshoot PLC programs, and explain PLC logic to junior techs
Make basic adjustments to vision systems and train others in vision inspection basics
Perform fabrication tasks using saws, mills, lathes, grinders, shears, brakes, and fastening tools
Adjust and tune vibratory bowl feeders and train others in proper setup
Suggest improvements or modifications to automation and robotics
Maintain a safe, clean, and cGMP-compliant work area; perform general housekeeping

Desired Background/Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
5–8 years of automation experience
Strong troubleshooting skills with robotics, automation, and large-scale installations
Ability to mentor junior personnel and communicate clearly
