Eyelet Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Eyelet Machine Operator for a Manufacturing Company located within the Greater Waterbury, CT area.

Hours- M-F 2:45PM – 12:45AM

Must be able to Train on 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
Set up and operate machines.
Inspect workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions and to plan operational sequences.
Start machines and turn handwheels or valves to engage feeding, cooling, and lubricating mechanisms.

Desired Background/Skills:

Minimum of 3 years experience in machine operating
Eyelet machine operating experience a plus
Ability to use a micrometer and gauges
Knowledge of blueprint reading
Responsible and dependable work ethic
