Logistics Coordinator

Job Description:

Location: Devens, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Logistics Coordinator in Devens, MA! The Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for communicating, tracking, recording, and transacting records pertaining to purchase transfer of commodities, shipping of commodities, receipt of commodities, transportation, inventory accuracy and reconciliation, order revisions and modifications, invoice resolution, and management of consigned inventory for National Accounts, Virtual and Third-Party Warehouse locations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Responsibilities:

Address and complete daily inventory management activities including but not limited to cycle counts, product replenishment/order creation, purchasing, product relocation, inventory adjustments and inbound/outbound order processing.
Create and maintain appropriate daily, weekly and monthly cycle count reports and inbound reports for use in reconciliation.
Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of reports and the delivery of these reports to the Team Lead/ Supervisor and the customer.
Generate product transaction reports, on-hand quantity reports and other reports out of the customer-based ERP system (Oracle) as needed to investigate product issues and discrepancies.
Maintain appropriate product replenishment through use of USG generated SDA (Supply Demand Analysis) illustrating forecasts, demand, sales, and inbounds scheduled 10+ weeks in advance.
Maintain accuracy and Supply of Consignment and Warehouse Goods with use of Microsoft, USG, Kenco and Customer tools/software.
Maintain accurate recordkeeping of accounts using Microsoft Office tools such as: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
Prioritization and communication of requests through use of e-mail, phone, and instant messaging (Microsoft Teams)
Act upon requests from key stakeholders such as, USG Sales, USG Customer Service, USG Transportation, USG Inventory/Demand Planning Team, USG Sourcing, USG Purchasing, USG IT, USG Accounts Payable, Third-Party warehouse accounts, national account locations, and outside vendors.
Participate in USG and Kenco events as SME (Subject Matter Experts) and Core Team Members
Support Technology Growth with both USG, Kenco and Customer Accounts through Ideas, Support, Training and Testing

Desired Background/Skills:

High school graduate or GED equivalent
College Degree Preferred
Minimum of 4 years’ related experience in inventory, production planning/scheduling, and planning preferred in a high-volume atmosphere.
SAP and or Oracle experience (preferred, not required)
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong Attention to detail
Organization
Time Management
