Location: Newington, New Hampshire

Coworx is seeking a Benefits Coordinator in the Newington, NH area!

Our client is a major manufacturer of complex infrastructure systems used in critical applications worldwide. They foster a culture rooted in quality, accountability, teamwork, and innovation. They are seeking a Benefits Coordinator to support their HR department and serve as a key resource to employees for benefits, leave administration, and HR systems support.

The Benefits Coordinator provides administrative and functional HR support with a focus on benefits administration, employee support, HRIS transactions, and compliance-related tasks. This role is ideal for someone entering the HR filed after completing related coursework or for someone with 1-3 years HR-related experience who enjoys providing employee-facing support.

Schedule Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm (includes lunch break).

Occasional off-shift support may be needed.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for employee health and welfare benefit questions, including claim issues and plan information.
Provide HR administrative support, including HRIS data entry, invoice processing, and filing.
Offer face-to-face support to employees for HR-related inquiries.
Audit benefits data, including enrollments and deductions.
Support open enrollment system setup, employee training, and reporting.
Assist with onboarding activities, including benefits training and enrollment tracking.
Support HR projects related to benefits, compensation, and other initiatives.
Manage disability cases, liaising with employees and the third-party administrator.
Interpret and support processes related to FMLA and ADA leaves.
Process life events, update HRIS, and coordinate with employees.

Desired Background/Skills:

Strong relationship-building and customer-service skills.
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
1 year of HR experience or equivalent training/education.
Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and credit check.
