Machine Operator

Now hiring a Machine Operator in Lawrence, MA! As a Machine Operator you will partner with Manufacturing Operations to machine parts to specifications. In this role, you will report to the Manufacturing Specialist/Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company’s product
Working from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks
Checking and inspecting operation against predetermined tolerances
1+ years of related/production experience required
Requires production experience, basic reading, writing and addition and subtraction skills

Desired Background/Skills:

Able to read and interpret blueprints
Be able to use a micrometer and caliper
Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
Operates in a manufacturing environment
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)

7:00am – 7:30pm, M-F
3:30pm -12:00am, M-F
6:50am -3:20pm, M-F
