Color Lab Supervisor

MKSG is accepting applications for a Color Lab Supervisor for a top client in Slatersville RI. This position oversees the entire color manufacturing process—from color matching to production scheduling—ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of color concentrates to the molding department. This role includes team leadership, inventory management, and maintaining compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Color Lab Supervisor – 1st Shift (7am–4pm) – $80,000 – Slatersville, RI Full-Time · On-site – 1st Shift (7:00am–4:00pm)

Responsibilities:

Perform and approve color matching and formulation for customer targets. Approve/adjust all color concentrates prior to molding, ensuring correct ratios and resin compliance. Produce customer and production color chips using injection molding methods. Review production schedules and plan colorant manufacturing to meet deadlines. Order pigments, supplies, and repair parts; maintain proper inventory levels. Assign daily tasks to Color Lab personnel; lead with a team-focused approach. Manage attendance, disciplinary actions, vacation requests, and overall team performance.

Desired Background/Skills:

A.S. degree or equivalent experience. 2–5 years of experience in color matching or color formulation. Experience managing production schedules, deadlines, shipment timelines, and quantities. Prior supervisory experience required.
