Inventory Cycle Count Specialist Chelmsford, MA | 1st Shift | Direct Hire Salary: $48,000–$55,000 per year We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Cycle Count Specialist to support a growing electronics manufacturing operation in Chelmsford, MA. This is a 1st shift, direct-hire opportunity reporting to the Materials Manager and plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy across SMT, PCBA, and box build environments. This position supports Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality by ensuring accurate material records in the ERP/MRP system, identifying discrepancies, and helping drive continuous improvement in inventory controls.

Responsibilities:

Execute the company’s inventory cycle count program to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts based on ABC classification Conduct blind counts to validate ERP/MRP system accuracy Investigate and reconcile count variances; document findings and corrective actions Maintain accurate part numbers, lot codes, serial numbers, and location data Support physical inventory audits and financial reconciliation activities Generate inventory accuracy reports and support KPI tracking Analyze root causes of discrepancies (receiving errors, WIP issues, BOM inaccuracies, scrap handling, etc.) Recommend and help implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready stockroom environment Assist shipping and receiving activities as needed Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JobBOSS, Epicor, or similar) Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word) Working knowledge of inventory control principles including FIFO, lot traceability, and WIP control Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
