Forklift Operator

CoWorx Staffing is hiring Stand Up Forklift Operators in the Manassas, VA area!
Operate powered industrial Stand Up Reach Trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials

Responsibilities:

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Operate powered industrial Stand Up Reach Trucks, sit down forklifts, and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as needed
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Display a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving processes

Desired Background/Skills:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 1 year of Reach Truck (Stand Up and Sit Down Forklift Acceptable) Experience
• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks (Reach Trucks)
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

Other Information:

Monday to Friday 1st shift (7am – 5:30pm) ($22.00)
Friday to Monday 2nd shift (3pm -11:30am) ($22.25)
