Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing in conjunction with a national manufacturer of Technical Ceramics is currently looking for a machine Operator. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating machining equipment to produce a variety of parts according to the procedures established. This role ensures strict adherence to quality standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30 minutes lunch

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Operate assigned equipment within the department
• Perform machining operations on a variety of parts to meet specifications
• Work to required tolerances using precision measuring tools
• Inspect work for accuracy after first article approval
• Prepare and maintain required records and reports
• Maintain established quality standards throughout all operations
• Keep work area and equipment clean, safe, and organized; adhere to all safety measures and company policies

Desired Background/Skills:

• Proven experience as a machine operator
• Knowledge of ceramic material properties
• Ability to operate machine tools
• Skilled in using precision instruments (micrometers, indicators, etc.) for accurate measurements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience utilizing grinding equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

$22 per hour
