Truck Driver

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Truck Driver candidates in the Georgetown, MA area. Mount Kemble Search Group, the direct hire division of CoWorx Staffing Services, is accepting applications for a reliable and safety-focused Manufacturing Plant Driver / General Laborer to join our clients manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished goods, and equipment between facilities and customer locations, while also supporting warehouse and production operations as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, box trucks, and flatbeds.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment between locations.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts or other equipment; training provided.
• Verify shipment quantities and ensure proper delivery documentation.
• Complete pickups and deliveries on time in alignment with production schedules.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery records.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Assist with warehouse and production support tasks when not driving.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and warehouse staff.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of the manufacturing team.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• Previous driving, logistics, or warehouse operations experience.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class A is a plus.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a medical exam and maintain a current DOT medical card.
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to complete training.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Other Information:

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
$25–$26 per hour based on experience
