Production Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services has immediate openings for Production Operators in Manitowoc, WI. In this role, where you will be assisting the machine operators with a variety of duties within the Add Room, Regrind Area, Roll RE-Wind and Blender Room. We are looking for individuals who want to progress through training for the opportunity to advance within the company. These positions are temp to hire.

Responsibilities:

• Remove product from the machine.
• Prepare additives for production use.
• Assist the operator in unloading the winder.
• Assist the operator during changeovers.
• Package roll and sheet skids.
• Load sheets for grinding.
• Stack sheets for pressing.
• Prepare product for delivery.
• Wrap skids.
• Operate a forklift (training and certification provided on site).
• Perform other duties as required.
• Duties may vary across departments.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work well within an industrial setting.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform bending, reaching, and rotating motions.
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Must be able to work overtime if needed.
• Good attendance and a positive attitude.

Other Information:

Shift Available:
Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am
In the future, hours will be moving to 8-hour shifts.
2nd shift, 3rd shift and 1st shift based on availability.
Pay Rate:
$21.50 an hour
$1 shift differential
