Sit-Down Forklift 1st, 2nd and Weekend Shift

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Sit-Down Forklift Operator candidates in the Buckeye, AZ area.

Responsibilities:

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate a sit-down electric forklift or order picker as required.
• Pack orders for shipment via parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on required forms and records.
• Apply proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets; mark and label shipments in compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to the direct supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met and document quality inspections per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Ensure the facility remains inspection-ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements.
• Communicate and report any incidents promptly.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of sit-down forklift experience.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to complete physical tasks.
• Action-oriented: Takes on new opportunities and challenges with urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
• Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working with others to meet shared objectives.
• Demonstrates decision quality by making timely and effective decisions that move the organization forward.
• Optimizes work processes by identifying efficient methods and supporting continuous improvement.
• Demonstrates situational adaptability by adjusting approach to meet changing demands.

Other Information:

1st Shift Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
2nd Shift Monday – Thursday 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Weekend Shift – Friday – Saturday – 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
