Production Associate

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Production Associate candidates in the Concord, NH area. The Production Associate is responsible for the manufacturing of components, the assembly and of finished products. This individual manufactures product in compliance with production control documentation and he/she is under the direct supervision of the production supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Receive packing orders and ensure the correct packing materials are available at the packing station.
• Visually inspect products for defects, setting aside or repairing defective items.
• Perform labeling of cardboard cases, pack finished products into cases, inspect products, tape cases, perform polyshrink wrapping, and complete roll changes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while meeting established standards for productivity, housekeeping, and safety.
• Keep records of items packed and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Inform the supervisor of operating deviations or mechanical problems as they occur.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Physical demands may require regular lifting.
• Working conditions may require contact with sharp tools, rotating equipment, and handling heavy paper rolls.
• Occasionally climb into machines to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, or cleaning.
• Ability to use hand tools and trade-specific tools.
• Stand for the majority of the shift.
• Maintain continuous mental and visual attention, requiring constant alertness and activity.
