Assemblers

CoWorx is actively seeking Assemblers in the Wallingford, CT area or surroundings towns for 1st and 2nd shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of manual and semi‑routine duties
• Read and interpret oral and written instructions for assembly
• Use hand tools and/or packaging equipment to package sub‑final assemblies and prepare for shipping
• Complete production records as required
• Expected to meet basic assembly standards
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Use various basic hand tools
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations regarding work station and chemical safety

Desired Background/Skills:

• Assemble components as per the work instructions given to you per Tech Routing and M.O. traveler
• Makes the settings for your activity / set up your workstation
• Follow all procedures and related work instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of basic assembly standards
• Knowledge and understanding of Lean Concepts and accepting continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience with basic cable assembly or mechanical
• Knowledge of Quality policy and counterfeit policy
• Knowledge of EHS policy, understanding and application of PPEs, emergency evacuation, etc.

Other Information:

• Ops Assemblers: 7am – 3:30pm
• Clean Room Assemblers: 6am – 2:30pm or 2pm – 10:30pm
• Location: Wallingford, CT
