Material Handler/Forklift Operator

CoWorx Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Material Handlers/Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team in Portland, ME!
This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations including loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, put-away, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily material handling tasks, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Fulfill and process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Verify products for accuracy, damage, infestation, and proper identification (part numbers, batches, etc.).
• Report any shortages, overages, or damages using company documentation procedures.
• Apply appropriate labels and ensure products are properly stacked and stored to prevent damage.
• Assist in periodic physical inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse according to company housekeeping and safety standards.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• 1+ year of experience operating a stand-up or sit-down forklift.
• Previous experience working in freezer or cooler environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
