Growing, Locally Owned Electronics Manufacturer Seeks Machine Operator
Are you looking for steady, hands-on work with long-term potential? A growing, locally owned electronics manufacturer is seeking a reliable SMT Operator to join their operations team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with on-the-job training provided, ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, following processes, and being part of a close-knit manufacturing environment. As an SMT Operator, you’ll play a key role in the production process by setting up, operating, and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment. Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and tearing down assigned work orders
  • Operating and maintaining SMT equipment, including screen printers, ovens, and paste measurement systems
  • Following established manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Performing basic equipment maintenance and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area

Desired Background/Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Willingness to learn and follow detailed work instructions
  • Ability to sit and stand throughout the shift
