Operator

CoWorx Staffing is hiring for 2nd shift Operators in Westfield, MA.
This company is LESS than 10 minutes from the Holyoke Mall!
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
NO INTERVIEW REQUIRED AND START ASAP!!

Responsibilities:

• Receives packing order and determines that correct packing materials are available at the packing station.
• Visually inspects product for defects, setting aside defective items or repairing.
• Conducts the following functions of labeling cardboard cases, packing finished products into the cases, inspection, case taping, polyshrink wrapping and roll changes.
• Organizes work area in a clean and efficient manner to perform processes according to established standards, productivity levels, housekeeping, and safety requirements.
• Keeps record of items packed and reports any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Informs supervisor of operating deviations or mechanical problems when they occur.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Have previous work experience
• Must own steel toe shoes
• Physical demand may require lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Job involves standing during most of the shift
