Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machine Operator candidates in the New Boston, NH area. These machines include centerless grinders, long stroke gun drill machines, and hone machines. You will produce precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurement tools.

Responsibilities:

A successful operator must possess manual dexterity and an eye for detail. They must have knowledge of basic mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety precautions. The goal is to ensure effective production output.

• Review samples, drawings, and instructions to understand output specifications.
• Apply basic shop math and take measurements to ensure compliance with customer prints.
• Monitor machines during operation to identify issues.
• Inspect output to ensure consistency within specifications and detect defects.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report minor damage.

Qualifications: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to use precision tools (e.g. micrometers) to take accurate measurements Ability to read blueprints and manuals Good at math with analytical abilities High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset. Centerless grinding is a plus General Comments 2nd shift 3:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday

Desired Background/Skills:

• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship is a plus.

Other Information:

1st Shift 6:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Thursday
2nd shift 3:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday
