Machine Operator

CoWorx is partnering with a highly respected organization in the industrial automotive space to find a Machine Operator to join their growing team in the Plainfield IN area!

Responsibilities:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for independently operating, setting up, and maintaining bottling and packaging equipment to ensure optimal production performance. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues, perform equipment changeovers, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Independently operate bottling and packaging equipment, including fillers, cappers, and labelers.
• Perform machine setup and product changeovers to support production schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical adjustments.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics such as speed, uptime, and reject rates.
• Ensure product quality through regular inspections and adherence to quality standards.
• Support Machine Operator I employees.
• Coordinate with line operators to maintain continuous production flow.
• Assist maintenance teams with preventive maintenance activities when required.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and reporting.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Three to five years of manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience performing equipment setups and changeovers.
• Strong understanding of production safety practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
