Warehouse Manager

Job Description:

Location: Salem, Massachusetts

CoWorx is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to run a fulfillment operation in the Salem, MA area!
This position will lead a team of associates, manage high-volume order fulfillment, personalized certificate/card production, and ensure every customer order ships accurately and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative retail environment and wants to make a visible impact quickly.
The warehouse manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse functions and leads operations which support direct order fulfillment while adhering to general safety standards.
SCHEDULE:

  • Weekdays Mon-Fri, 9AM – 5PM.
  • Weekend availability as-needed.
  • Necessary holiday availability to cover Black Friday and winter holiday sales.

40 hours yearly paid sick leave. 80 hours yearly paid vacation, with unused hours paid in cash.

Responsibilities:

  • Delegate responsibilities and deliver operatives to warehouse associates.
  • Submit regular operational updates to the warehouse operations liaison including shipping volume, receiving status, inventory discrepancies, and any personnel issues.
  • Participate in regular check-ins with the warehouse operations liaison.
  • Coordinate employee scheduling and handle payroll reporting.
  • Process inventory and ensure accuracy of backstock by updating numbers in Shopify relevant to general receiving, returns, and replacements to be shipped to customers as-needed.
  • Complete shipment of orders by printing shipping labels, adhering them to containers, and facilitating the pickup of orders by shipping couriers using warehouse software (ShipStation).
  • Oversee and conduct routine analysis of activity in Shopify, ShipStation, and Gorgias platforms.
  • Ensure the smooth and consistent functionality of warehouse systems including the applicable software, inkjet printers, and Evolis printers.
  • Streamline general fulfillment by preparing single items for shipping by bubble-wrapping, labeling, and organizing their placement into respective storage areas.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by selecting merchandise from shelves using warehouse software (Shopify/ShipStation) then placing merchandise into bins and/or sorting merchandise weighing to prepare for shipment.
  • Prepare personalized membership certificates and cards using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, on-site laser printer, and specialized on-site Evolis card printers.
  • Photograph merchandise and upload adequately formatted files to a shared drive.
  • Contact, reply, and coordinate customer email communications through the Gorgias platform.
  • Coordinate, receive, and fulfill order returns, replacements, and refunds when necessary.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook Suite.
  • Ability to use Shopify retail platform.
  • Ability to use ShipStation retail shipping platform.
  • Ability to use Gorgias communications platform.
  • Basic Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop skills.
  • Basic Shopify and ShipStation program skills.
  • Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out and to delegate detailed instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task.
  • Ability to make judgment calls on quality.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/move and carry up to 50 pounds.
