Operator

CoWorx Staffing is hiring Operators in the Easthampton, MA area. This is a great temp to hire opportunity! Training done on 1st shift (6:30am – 3:00pm) then move will to 2nd shift (3:00pm – 11:00PM). Position pay $19/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Operate all coating activities including machine setup and feeding adhesive to the coater via reservoir
• Observe machine and equipment operation to detect defects
• Perform proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Assist production as a material handler: load, unload, and move materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanized means within or near the plant, warehouse, or vehicle
• Perform a variety of other warehouse tasks, including installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit using hand tools
• Load each end of the machine with raw materials
• Read process orders on the computer or follow verbal instructions
• Ensure safety guidelines are being met to maintain a safe work environment

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Longevity at previous employment
