Production Associate

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Production Technician Associates in the Ashburn, VA area. As a Production Technician Associate, you will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies, as well as perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions.
• Safely use measuring and inspection instruments.
• Operate various power and hand tools in a safe manner.
• Work with a variety of materials, including steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils, and abrasives.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and quality standards.
• Ability to pass a urinalysis and background check.
• Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within the department.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High level of technical skills and assembling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and follow job orders and work procedures.
• Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment.
• One year of previous experience in manufacturing or troubleshooting.
• High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience.
• Two years of experience with a proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and support team members.
• Ability to remain engaged, productive, and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Information:

Hours:
8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $27/hr
Occasional Overtime
