Assembler

CoWorx Staffing Services is looking for an exceptional Assembler II who can perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Makes set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to written instructions and established drawings. May be responsible for testing equipment and products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations in accordance with work instructions and specifications.

Conduct leak testing of assemblies to verify product quality performance.

• Inspect parts and assemblies for appearance, cleanliness, and conformance to quality standards.
• Perform a variety of repetitive production and assembly tasks as required.
• Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Two to[/li five years of assembly experienceferred.
• Ability to work from written instructions, specifications[/li, and established drawings.]
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Other Information:

$21/hr +10% shift diff
2nd Shift: M-F, 3-11:30 PM
Lifting requirement – occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
