Carpenter/Metal Stud Framer

We are seeking experienced Carpenters and Metal Stud Framers who take pride in high-quality craftsmanship and can contribute to building strong, long-lasting structures. Ideal candidates have excellent hand skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and independently. You will work under a Lead Carpenter or Foreman and must be able to follow all safety standards and job specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, fabricate, and install metal, wood, and other structural materials according to specifications
• Install wall systems using hand and power tools
• Work with sheetrock, steel framing, drywall, and related materials
• Size, cut, and install metal studs, tracks, and wall systems
• Perform work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Assemble and safely use ladders, scaffolding, and jobsite equipment
• Ensure all equipment is properly assembled and meets safety regulations
• Use levels and other tools to ensure accuracy and quality
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Perform layout work
• Provide direction to helpers and laborers as needed

Desired Background/Skills:

• Ability to read blueprints or follow instructions from supervisors
• Accurate measurement skills and ability to calculate material needs
• Ability to cut, shape, and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other materials
• Experience cutting and installing metal studs
• Ability to build frames, doors, staircases, and structural components
• Experience laying out flooring, roofing, or drywall
• Ability to assemble cabinets, shelves, and other carpentry items
• Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain structures
• Experience building scaffolding and temporary structures
• Ability to work at heights (stilts, ladders, beams)
• Strong adherence to safety practices and jobsite cleanliness
