Fill Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a fill Operator in Westbrook, ME. The Fill Operator position receives prepared product from cook/mixers and operates equipment that packs and labels the product.

Responsibilities:

• Receive product from cook/mixers and operate packaging equipment while maintaining product integrity throughout the packing process.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including GMP, SQF, and other regulatory or internal quality programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of batch cards and supporting records
• Coordinate with line operators, line workers, and agency staff to manage the packaging process from loading containers to palletizing finished goods.
• Assist team members in maintaining a clean and organized work area, performing routine cleanups and line quality checks.
• Ensure product quality during packaging, including correct fill levels, weight accuracy, proper capping, shrink banding, labeling, and container cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities packed and ensure correct pallet configuration and blocking patterns.
• Monitor and maintain packing line throughput to meet production targets and standards.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required, along with basic arithmetic skills.
• Must maintain a strong safety mindset when operating equipment and following work practices.
• Ability to cooperate with and support team members.

Other Information:

• Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Payrate $20-$24 Depending on Experience
