Shipping Coordinator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator in the Milford, MA area to support daily logistics operations within a laboratory environment. This role is responsible for the safe handling, packaging, and shipment of biological specimens, including human blood, in compliance with established safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Package, label, and prepare human blood specimens for shipment in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Receive incoming deliveries and verify contents against documentation.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records using internal systems.
• Handle biological materials safely while following OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols.
• Ensure proper storage and temperature control of laboratory materials as required.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
• Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready shipping and work areas.
• Follow all PPE and biohazard handling procedures.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Prior shipping, warehouse, or laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience handling biological or medical materials is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow strict procedures and safety protocols.
• Comfortable working in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Ability to lift and move packages, typically up to 50 pounds.
