CoWorx is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Mechanic or Technician to support the daily operations and upkeep of a manufacturing facility in New Milford, CT. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient production environment. You’ll play a key role in facility maintenance, equipment support, and general shop operations.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Lead or assist with facility, machinery, and equipment repairs
- Support equipment setup, modifications, and installations
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Maintain tools, equipment, and machinery
- Use hand and power tools in daily repair work
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, storage spaces, and common areas
- Remove and dispose of waste materials (cardboard, scrap wood, etc.)
- Coordinate dumpster and recycling services
- Perform routine cleaning and facility upkeep
- Order and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
- Track maintenance records and vendor information
- Perform minor electrical repairs (outlets, switches, fuses, etc.)
- Maintain and monitor facility alarm systems

Desired Background/Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or a shop environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and industrial electrical experience
- Experience working with contractors/vendors is a plus
- Basic skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and repairs
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Willingness to work 5 days per week with overtime as needed
- Ability to operate forklift, crane, and aerial lift (training provided)
