Forklift Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Sit-Down Forklift Operators in the Buckeye, AZ area. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and/or packing orders, printing labels, inspecting products for orders, and utilizing the specific equipment to pick, pack, and kit products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and type of product are selected and loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately.
• Operate a sit-down electric forklift or order picker as required for order fulfillment.
• Pack orders for shipment via parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on required forms and records.
• Apply proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets.
• Mark and label shipping containers and products in compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
• Report missing items, inventory discrepancies, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate, complete, and free from damage.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to verify packaging specifications are met.
• Perform and document quality inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Participate in inventory and cycle count activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area.
• Ensure the facility remains audit-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer inspections.
• Communicate and report incidents, issues, or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks and special assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of sit-down forklift experience required.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including stooping, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Action-oriented with the ability to take on new opportunities and challenges with urgency and enthusiasm.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and build partnerships to achieve shared objectives.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make timely and effective choices.
• Ability to optimize work processes with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Adaptability to changing situations and shifting work demands.
