Encapsulation Operator (Manufacturer)

CoWorx Staffing Services has immediate temp-to-hire Encapsulation Operator openings with a fantastic, employee-focused client in the Edison, NJ area! Schedule-: Monday – Friday/5:30am -1:30pm
Pay Rate: $22.70 (training rate) – $25.00 per hour (After training)
Experience required

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual encapsulation machines.
• Verify the correct blend, capsule size, and material origin are used for each production run.
• Feed materials into the hopper during startup and throughout the duration of the run.
• Submit product samples to Quality Control for approval.
• Maintain weight control systems, closing stations, empty capsule magazines, and capsule polishers during operation.
• Complete in-process logs and track machine downtime accurately.
• Ensure all drums are properly labeled and identified.
• Maintain equipment usage records and room logs in accordance with procedures.
• Perform required in-process sampling activities and documentation.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Two or more years of warehouse or manufacturing experience in encapsulation operations.
• Ability to bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Strong verbal communication skills to understand and complete assignments as instructed.
• Skilled in basic mathematical calculations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in solid dosage manufacturing or pharmaceutical production preferred.
