Tablet Press Operator / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Tablet Press Operator / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator in the Edison, NJ area.
Tablet Press Operator will set up, maintain, and run capsule machine. Operator will also be responsible for recording logs every 30 minutes, submitting samples to QC for approval, and for capsule quality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with press setup under the direction of the Floor Supervisor.
• Verify that the correct punches are installed and in proper working condition.
• Feed material into the hopper to support press operation.
• Monitor tablets as they are produced and deposited into containers.
• Label containers accurately with the required batch information.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Preferred experience in nutraceutical or solid dosage manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Other Information:

• Temp-to-hire second-shift position.
• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend work required.
• Shift hours: 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
• Pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
