Material Handler

CoWorx Staffing Services has partnered with a plastics manufacturer who is looking to add Material Handlers to their team in Greenville, OH. As a Material Handler, you would be assisting the production team by consistently moving raw materials and finished product throughout the facility. There are two, 12 hour shifts available, 7:45am to 8:00pm and 7:45pm to 8:00am on rotating schedules. These are temporary-to-hire positions starting at $19.00 per hour. The overnight schedule will also include a $1.50 shift differential!

Responsibilities:

• Perform material handling tasks in accordance with company policies and established standards.
• Assist with completing and maintaining departmental records, files, and documentation.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Report exceptions, discrepancies, or concerns as required.
• Support housekeeping activities and environmental compliance requirements.
• Inspect equipment, supplies, and materials, and report issues or concerns to the Supervisor.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shipping documents, and procedure manuals.
• Forklift experience required.
