Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician / Inspector to support quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using precision measuring equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining accurate quality documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, and CMM equipment.
  • Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and document inspection results.
  • Verify product compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Perform sampling inspections and quality testing as required.
  • Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials and products.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action activities.
  • Support internal and external quality audits.
  • Ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.

Desired Background/Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical education or related training is preferred.
  • 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and quality management systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar computer applications.
  • ASQ Quality Technician certification is a plus.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must follow all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE when required.
