CNC Machinist – Direct Hire
Location: Carlisle, PA
Schedule: 1st Shift | Full-Time
Pay: Competitive Compensation – Flexible Based on Experience ($28-$38+/hour DOE)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Carlisle, PA. This is a direct-hire opportunity on 1st shift within a modern, climate-controlled facility equipped with advanced CNC milling, turning, and boring equipment.
The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and hands-on knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and programming. This position offers excellent long-term growth potential, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, boring mills, and other machining equipment.
• Perform machining operations according to production specifications and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Utilize Mastercam and/or G-Code programming to support manufacturing operations.
• Conduct machine adjustments and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications and tolerances.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CNC machine setup and operation.
• Working knowledge of Mastercam and/or G-Code programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and shop mathematics.
• Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
