Job Description:

Location: Gallatin, Tennessee

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring 2nd shift Press Assistants in Gallatin, TN! The Press Assistant supports production operations by performing material handling, quality checks, data entry, and general press support activities. This role is responsible for maintaining efficient workflow, ensuring product quality, and promoting a safe and organized work environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials and finished goods.
  • Move barrels and dump scrap hoppers as required.
  • Print and apply product labels accurately.
  • Use inspection gauges and measuring tools to verify part quality.
  • Enter quality and production data into MeasurLink.
  • Maintain 5S standards and keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Perform tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team success.

Desired Background/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift operating experience required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Effective communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
