Manufacturing Training Coordinator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Manufacturing Training Coordinator candidates in the Stamford, CT area.
The Plant Training Coordinator is responsible for training, development, and retention for new manufacturing hires entering the Company and continuing education of hourly production associates. The Plant Training Coordinator will develop and implement annual learning plans for ongoing training needs, and work with the Sr. HR Manager and Plant Leadership Team to identify specific training gaps. Training and development directly impact retention of team members at the facility, therefore the Plant Training Coordinator must be innovative and creative in the role for process improvement and be a representative of our company culture.

Responsibilities:

• Own and formalize all new hire training programs across the manufacturing facility.
• Develop[/li and implement annual plant ning plans in collaboration with the Senior HR Manager and Plant Leadership Team while minimizing operational disruption.
• Create and maintain written training programs that include position-specific coursework, operator classifications, quantified evaluations for certification, and ongoing sustainment training.
• Train and onboard all new production employees to ensure successful integration into manufacturing operations.
• Manage new hire orientation programs, floor trainers, and all onboarding activities.
• Improve existing employee development, engagement, and retention programs.
• Support the continued development and advancement of current employees through ongoing training initiatives.
• Partner with the Senior HR Manager and Plant Leadership Team to develop and deliver specialized training programs, including new product training, new equipment training, and non-standard product training.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Five or more years of management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software applications required.
