Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services in conjunction with a company that provides quality plastic packaging and containers, is currently recruiting for a 2nd shift Machine Operator. Main goal of the position is to operate production machinery safely and efficiently; maintain appropriate documentation.
2nd shift temp to hire position
3pm to 1130pm Monday to Friday with some Saturdays as needed
$23 to $25 based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Follow all employer safety and health regulations as required by company policies, procedures and practices.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all downstream equipment to meet or exceed company established safety culture.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
• Perform necessary Operator Checklists
• Notify Maintenance Manager when parts inventory becomes low or reaches a reorder point.
• Responsible for producing and/or packing the best quality product at all times which meet or exceed company expectations and customer quality expectations.
• Ensure all raw material lot numbers are properly obtained and recorded as required.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School diploma or GED
• Manufacturing Experience preferably plastics but definitely manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience a plus but not necessary

Other Information:

Temp to hire position
3pm to 1130pm
$23 to $25 per hour based on experience.
