Supervisor, Customizing/Assembly – 3rd shift

Location: Danbury, Connecticut

We have an opening for an experienced Production Supervisor (Customizing – 3rd Shift) to lead and coordinate manufacturing operations in our clients Customizing Assembly Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys developing teams, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.
As a key member of our operations team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals are achieved while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
Supervisor, Customizing (3rd Shift), Danbury, CT – $80,000 – $85,000 + 10% Target Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees in accordance with Belimo’s leadership principles and management guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Establish performance goals and operational targets aligned with departmental and company objectives.
  • Promote employee engagement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and direction during third-shift operations, ensuring employees have the support and resources necessary to meet production goals.
  • Make independent operational decisions to address production, staffing, quality, and material-related challenges.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet customer requirements while maintaining quality, safety, and cost objectives.
  • Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions when targets are not achieved.
  • Coordinate assembly operations to ensure efficient production of subassemblies and finished products.
  • Ensure proper inspection, labeling, packaging, and shipment preparation of products.

Desired Background/Skills:

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or Group Leader experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
