Warehouse Associate – Shipping Department

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Warehouse Associates in the Kennesaw, GA area.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general warehouse duties as directed by supervisors and warehouse leadership.
• Receive, unload, unpack, inspect, and store merchandise, materials, and supplies accurately.
• Fill requisitions and customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Pack, crate, and ship products and materials to distribution centers, departments, and production areas.
• Load and unload goods and supplies while ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming merchandise, materials, and supplies.
• Sort, stock, and organize inbound inventory receipts within designated warehouse locations.
• Ensure inventory is properly packed, labeled, and tagged in accordance with company standards.
• Pick and pack dealer orders according to established guidelines and productivity goals.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy through daily inventory tracking and recordkeeping.
• Monitor inventory quality, identify damaged items, and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked work area.
• Follow carrier requirements and shipping guidelines for packaging and shipment preparation.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely as required.

Works in adherence to all safety regulations and Kaizen / 5S practices of the warehouse.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse machinery and equipment operation preferred.
• Ability to safely operate industrial vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including stooping, bending, reaching, twisting, and turning.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours or more during a shift. Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work in a warehouse environment.
