2nd Shift Electron Beam Weld Operator

Responsible for operating automated butt-welding equipment to produce high-quality welded components in a manufacturing environment. This role involves machine setup, tooling changes, quality inspections, material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized work area while ensuring compliance with established production processes and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Performs oxy/acetylene butt-welds (loading weld machine, not actually doing hand welds)
• Set up correct tooling for machine
• Performs quality inspection of welded WSL parts
• Maintains a clean and organized workstation / 5S
• Understands all processes and specification within the department and reports to Supervisor any discrepancies in line specifications.
• Load and unload material using hoist / moving finished material when rack is full using a pallet jack.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating automated welding equipment or similar industrial machinery.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and follow detailed specifications and work instructions.
• Experience safely using material handling equipment, including hoists and pallet jacks.
