Cycle Counter

CoWorx Staffing is seeking a Cycle Counter that ensures inventory accuracy by conducting regular, methodical physical counts of stock and reconciling them with warehouse management systems (WMS).
They investigate discrepancies, manage stock locations, and use equipment like scanners or forklifts, usually requiring high school education, attention to detail, and warehouse experience.
Pay: $20-23/hr DOE
Shift: 1st shift 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Counting Inventory: Performing scheduled and, at times, unscheduled, physical counts of products in warehouse bins.
• Discrepancy Research: Investigating root causes for inventory mismatches between physical stock and data in systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Data Management: Utilizing RF scanners and WMS to update inventory records promptly.
• Maintaining Accuracy: Ensuring product identification and location accuracy to support smooth warehouse operations.
• Quality Control: Checking for damaged items, proper rotation (FIFO), and proper packaging.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Needs to be able to learn and absorb new soft ware (Blu Yonder)
• Someone that has had ERP or WMS
• Background in Inventory/Ship Rec as well as Warehouse equipment
