Retail Counterperson

CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring a Retail Counterperson for a local Auburn, MA company that specializes in specialty food products, including chocolates, fudge, dried fruits, nuts, and more. If you’re friendly, dependable, and enjoy working with customers, this is a great opportunity to get started in a retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner, creating a positive customer experience.
• Operate cash registers and accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Stock, organize, and maintain product displays to ensure merchandise is properly presented and readily available for customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment at all times.
• Assist business visitors, vendors, and customers entering the lobby by providing directions, information, and support as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering product questions, offering assistance, and helping customers find appropriate products.

Desired Background/Skills:

• No experience required; excellent entry-level opportunity with training provided.
• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
• Must not have nut allergies due to products handled within the facility.

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
