Forklift Operator

Coworx Staffing Services is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Forklift Operator / Order Picker to join our team. In this role, you will operate powered industrial trucks and order pickers, support inbound receiving operations, load and unload trailers, and help maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment. • Weekdays 3rd Shift available.
• Weekend 1st Shift available.
• Weekend 2nd Shift available.
• Weekend 3rd Shift available.

Responsibilities:

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to safely move, stack, store, and retrieve products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Use handheld RF scanners to accurately track inventory and complete warehouse transactions.
• Load and unload trailers while following established safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform inbound receiving processes and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products are stored in the correct warehouse locations.
• Follow GXO quality standards, operational procedures, and supply chain policies.
• Support the 7S program by maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Demonstrate a commitment to operational excellence, workplace safety, and productivity goals.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily performance and customer service objectives.

Desired Background/Skills:

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have reach truck forklift experience.
• Minimum of one year of warehouse experience required.
• Certified and experienced in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.
• Basic experience using RF scanners or warehouse management technology.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with peers and leadership.
• Experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 75 pounds.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items of[/li various shapes, sizes, and hts safely and efficiently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull throughout the work shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods as required by job duties.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle materials effectively.
• Ability to work comfortably in hot or cold warehouse environments.
