Forklift Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team in Portland, ME! This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations including loading, order fulfillment, cycle counting, put-away, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily material handling activities, including loading and unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Fulfill and process customer orders accurately while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Inspect products for accuracy, damage, infestation, and proper identification, including part numbers and batch information.
• Report shortages, overages, damages, and inventory discrepancies using established company procedures and documentation.
• Apply appropriate product labels and ensure materials are properly stacked, stored, and protected from damage.
• Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and inventory control activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company housekeeping and safety standards.

Desired Background/Skills:

• One or more years of experience operating stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts required.
• Previous experience working in freezer or cooler environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
