Co-Pack Material Handler

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Material Handlers in the Ontario, CA area.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain packaging machinery used in co-pack production processes, including sorting, cutting, stapling, assembling, labeling, and palletizing products.
• Perform hands-on production and packaging tasks while meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Follow all safety and quality guidelines to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
• Accurately complete production documentation, including logs, reports, and quality inspection records.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and production processes to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
• Monitor production lines for jams, pileups, defects, or other quality concerns and report issues promptly.
• Inspect products and packaging to ensure quality standards are met and verify correct product placement.
• Collaborate with team members, participate in start-up and tailgate meetings, and support operational goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other departments and production areas as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of work areas, equipment, and production environments.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Basic computer skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, reach, grasp, twist, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience operating machinery, working in highly automated environments, or performing general production tasks preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment or process-related issues.
