Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring Machine Operators in Londonderry, NH! The Machine Operator will operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. Role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. The Machine Operator is also responsible for following our company’s Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing appropriate PPE and following all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains punctuality and adheres to assigned work schedules.
• Demonstrates a One Team Cross-Functional attitude by working effectively and collaboratively with others.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to support positive change within the plant.
• Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with corporate and plant safety standards, as well as applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and clutter-free work area.
• Learns preventive maintenance procedures, including mold, neck ring, blow pin, and other mechanical changes.
• Operates blow mold, PET, and injection molding equipment to produce quality products.
• Follows quality control standards and established blow mold process procedures.
• Assists with troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
• Performs bottle inspections, including drop tests, on designated production lines.
• Inspects product quality during production, packaging, and labeling processes.
• Conducts audits, weight checks, and quality inspections as required.
• Makes machine and process adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoots and performs minor repairs on blow mold and supporting equipment.
• Immediately reports bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality concerns when identified.
• Monitors packaging material inventory levels and replenishes supplies as needed.
• Collects dropped bottles and places them into designated bins or grinders when required.
• Ensures correct labeling, bottle descriptions, and packaging in accordance with customer requirements.
• Moves finished goods to designated storage or shipping areas.
• Prepares and maintains daily production reports, including rejects, regrind, line efficiency, and other production metrics.
• Completes maintenance request forms and documents equipment repairs.
• Receives direction from Lead Operators and Supervisors and seeks assistance with unusual or complex issues as needed.
