Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associates in the East Hartford, CT area to support material processing, pallet jack assembly, and general warehouse operations.
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where employees are responsible for breaking down recyclable materials, assembling pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Successful candidates must be comfortable with continuous movement, frequent bending, and physical work throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, strip, and remove banding, stretch wrap, cardboard sheathing, and other packaging materials from corrugate and non-corrugate products.
• Process corrugate bales and skids safely and efficiently.
• Assemble pallet jacks by installing handles, testing functionality, and securing completed units to skids.
• Handle and maneuver pallet jacks weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Assist with warehouse housekeeping duties, including sweeping floors, emptying waste containers, operating compactors, and cleaning equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting, moving, and handling heavy materials and equipment.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
