Machine Operator

CoWorx Staffing in conjunction with a Client that specializes in Technician ceramics is looking for a Machine Operator in Fairfield, NJ.
This position is responsible for setting up and operating machining equipment to produce a variety of parts according to the procedures established. This role ensures strict adherence to quality standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Temp to Hire position – 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines./li]
• Operate assigned equipment within the department./li]
• Perform machining operations on a variety of parts to meet specifications./li]
• Work to required tolerances using precision measuring tools./li]
• Sharpen tools as needed to maintain performance./li]
• Inspect work for accuracy after first article approval./li]
• Operate equipment at optimal efficiency while ensuring compliance with specifications./li]
• Prepare and maintain required records and reports./li]

Desired Background/Skills:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Proven experience as a machine operator/li]
• Ability to operate machine tools/li]
• Skilled in using precision instruments (micrometers, indicators, etc.) for accurate measurements/li]
• High school diploma or equivalent/li]

Other Information:

Position is temp to perm with full benefits once hired perm.
