Production Utility Worker

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our production team at a plating facility that serves critical industries, including aerospace, defense, firearms, and medical manufacturing. Location: Westbrook, ME
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Rack and unrack parts for processing in accordance with production requirements and established work procedures.
• Perform sandblasting, buffing, washing, wiring, and cleaning operations to prepare parts for plating and finishing processes.
• Carry out general labor duties throughout the production area to support manufacturing operations and workflow requirements.
• Assist with quality inspections and basic testing activities before and after plating to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and operational guidelines while performing assigned duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company housekeeping and safety standards.
• Support team members in achieving production goals, quality objectives, and operational targets.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods while performing production and assembly duties.
• Ability to handle small parts and perform detailed, repetitive tasks with precision.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new processes, skills, and responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and productivity standards.
